BIOGRAPHY
Ram Narayanan is the founder of TAPAS Advisory, an independent transformation consulting firm, and the architect of CHANGEReadyX™, a diagnostic-led framework for transformation readiness. Across 25+ years of enterprise HR and organization development leadership — at Viatris, Johnson & Johnson and Merck — he has worked where transformations actually succeed or fail: not at go-live, but in adoption.
His practice spans target operating model design, ERP transformation readiness, workforce transformation and leadership capability for enterprises and GCCs. The method is consistent: structured diagnosis first — 24 evidence signals across four pillars, consolidated into the Transformation Intelligence Index (TII™) — then targeted intervention, so transformation spend is committed only where readiness evidence says it will land.
Before consulting, Ram built capability at scale inside the enterprise: a Learning Centre of Excellence replicated across three regions, a field organization of 1,000+ people moved to digital learning with 92%+ adoption, and leadership systems — WISL™ among them — institutionalized across 1,500+ employees.
